Tournament Program

Medina Golf & Country Club annually provides a variety of golf events designed to create competitiveness and entertainment for the multiple interests of the membership. Schedules of major tournaments that require early registration appear in our golf calendar.

At each event, starting times, pairings, rules, scorecards, transportation, and prizes are all pre-organized—you will need to only sign up in advance.

Check with the Golf Shop to find out details for a particular tournament and to register. When you sign up, please notify us if you will need a golf car or caddy. Any other important information will be taken care of at this time.

The staff is happy to answer any questions you may have concerning our golf events. These events are a great way to meet the membership—we hope you participate.

Pace of Play

Our goal at Medina Golf & Country Club is to keep the pace of play moving at all times. During peak season, when play is heavy, this can be a difficult task. Therefore, we need all players' cooperation to fulfill this objective. All players should hit when ready and be mindful of their pace of play.

Members are reminded that, when you have guests, it is your responsibility to keep your group playing at an acceptable pace. During peak times, a ranger program will be in effect. Their responsibilities are to monitor the pace of play and assist you when necessary. Please give them your full cooperation. Also, the professional staff will be happy to assist you in learning to play and enjoy the game at an appropriate pace.

Care of the Golf Course

We are fortunate to have a golf course with excellent playing conditions. As a result, we play the ball as it lies. Local rules are listed on the scorecard. Please refer to the Rules of Golf booklet for further rules, care of the course suggestions and etiquette procedures.

Remember!
Please play without delay
Always park your golf car and pull cart away from tees and greens.
Replace divots and fix your ball marks.
Drive your golf car with the 90-degree rule in mind.
Take care of the course—it is yours.
Dress Code

All golfers must adhere to the dress code provisions listed in the membership roster. Appropriate golf attire is required for all age golfers on both the championship golf course as well as on the practice range and Par 3 course. See the member roster for details.

We appreciate your cooperation in this matter and would appreciate you informing your family members as well as guests.

Emergency Procedures

Medina Golf & Country Club has contracted with Weather Watch Services to provide us with an updated forecast twice daily. In the event of severe weather, we will sound a horn indicating dangerous weather approaching. Please discontinue play and head for shelter.

Our lightning shelter is the clubhouse. Do not delay when the siren/horn is sounded. This means there is immediate danger and you should seek shelter at once. Please take these conditions and warnings seriously in an effort to prevent injury. Anyone who chooses not to take shelter, does so at their own risk!
